What to expect at your first visit

Plan on about an hour. You talk with your doctor about your work and what you want from care, have an exam, hear what was found and what the options are, and decide what happens next. Treatment starts that day only if you agree.

Wear clothes you can move in, such as what you wear to work. Bring a photo ID, your insurance card if you use insurance, and any records or imaging you already have.

The visit in order

From the front desk to your plan

The same four steps for every new patient.

  • At the desk

You check in and we confirm how you would like to pay. No paperwork about your health is needed in advance.

  • With your doctor

You talk about your work and what you want from care. The doctor then examines how you move.

  • Your options

The doctor explains what was found, the options, the risks of each and what each would cost. X-rays are taken only when medically necessary.

  • Before you leave

If you agree to a plan, the doctor goes through it with you and the front desk books your next visit.
