How fees work

Plain answers on paying for care, before you book.

  • Insurance we work with

We bill most PPO plans and some employer plans. What a plan pays for chiropractic differs from plan to plan, so we check yours first. If you were hurt at work, call us before you book: that kind of billing follows a different route than your health plan, and the front desk will explain it.

    • Most PPO plans

    • Some employer plans

    • Ask us about yours

  • If you pay yourself

If you pay for visits yourself, your doctor tells you what each part of the visit costs before it happens, and you pay at the visit. The front desk can give you our fee list on request.

  • Receipts for reimbursement

After a visit we can give you an itemized receipt. If your plan reimburses care outside its network, you send the receipt to the plan, and the plan decides what it pays.

  • An estimate in advance

If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. We give you a written estimate in advance, before your first visit, and we answer your questions about it.

  • Checking your benefits

Our front desk checks your benefits before your first visit and calls you with what they find, including any copay or deductible. You can also ask your plan what it covers for chiropractic visits.

  • What the first visit includes

Plan on about an hour for the first visit. Later visits are shorter.

    • A talk about your work and what you want from care

    • An exam of how you move

    • Your options and their risks explained

What happens at the first visit

To cancel or change a visit, call us as early as you can. Ask the front desk about our cancellation policy when you book.
